After being in a group practice for 17 years, Dr. Wolsey started her own solo practice, Apex Vision, in 2024. Dr. Wolsey and her amazing staff deliver personalized care in a comfortable setting. For previous patients of Dr. Wolsey, you will see familiar faces from her previous location that bring an impressive amount of knowledge and experience.

Darcy H. Wolsey, MD
Darcy H. Wolsey, MD is a board Certified and fellowship-trained Ophthalmologist. She is a native of Salt Lake City with an undergraduate and masters degree from University of Utah and attended medical school at the University of New Mexico. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at the University of Utah’s Moran Eye Center, followed by a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery. Dr. Wolsey is highly experienced in a wide range of advanced vision corrective procedures, including cataract surgery with the use of premium intraocular lenses and vision correcting refractive procedures such as LASIK, PRK, and implantable contact lenses (ICLs).

Cataracts can cause blurry vision, and increase the glare from lights. In their early stages, cataracts usually are not troublesome but, as they thicken, surgery to remove them may be required. Typically, surgery is needed because cataracts are interfering with everyday activities, or the treatment of another eye problem.
